Kosky Family
To Whom It May Concern,
Our family had the pleasure to have one of Marcia’s chocolate labs, Baxter, as a part of our family for nine years. He was intelligent, friendly, always playful, a true athlete and loving. Anne, my wife, our two daughters and I loved him immensely, and he didn’t have a mean bone in his body.
What made him so easy to become acclimated to us was that Marcia had him crate trained and potty trained before he even came into our home when he was only 8 weeks old! He willingly went into his crate and he never had an accident in our home; it was unreal!
A friend of mine had two labs, a yellow and a black lab. When Baxter was about two years old, we were invited to their house to play fetch the ball with them. He was so fast, he easily got the ball before either of them did, which didn’t set too well with their overly proud owners. Needless to say, he wasn’t invited to play with them after a few sessions, he was just too dominating.
This is not to say that Baxter didn’t get along with other dogs, he never barked or growled at other dogs and got along well with every dog he met. During a puppy class that Baxter was in, a young pit bull about 2 months younger than Baxter came to class for one session. During playtime, the pit bull took a ball away from Baxter and growled aggressively when Baxter went to get it back, so Baxter backed off. He always had an excellent temperament around other dogs and people.
We received a multitude of compliments from anyone who would see him; with his shiny coat, lively eyes and trim body, he was the definition of a handsome dog.
I would highly recommend getting a puppy from Marcia because she raises wonderful dogs who will win your heart in an instant.
Sincerely,
Bob Kosky
